North Notts envoys links
Fairtrade for Bassetlaw is a member of North Notts envoys along with many businesses in North Nottinghamshire. This provides excellent opportunities for networking. The latest meeting was on February 28th at National Fluid Power centre (NFPC) Worksop. The presentations were on Doncaster and Sheffield Airport (DSA) and NFPC - Integrated Systems Engineering - Hydraulics-Pneumatics-Electronics (really another world - but a centre of excellence in the UK. The Chair of Fairtrade for Bassetlaw challenged the Director to see if the coffee/tea they provide is Fairtrade - it isn't so his challenge was for us to find a supplier.
The most recent North Notts envoys meeting June 2017 was at Gamston airport - an interesting commercial airport and site for many using private planes. Planes also go from here to pick up organs for transplant to take them to patients requiring new organs.
